General information about the DSA
THE DEPUTY SHERIFFS' ASSOCIATION or DSA is a registered, tax-exempt non-profit IRC 501(c)(5) labor corporation. Our members are the sworn Deputies assigned to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division. We work at the direction of the Sheriff of Sonoma County to protect the community. Our deputies patrol the unincorporated and surrounding areas of Sonoma County as well as the Town of Windsor and City of Sonoma, both of which have contracts for police services with the County. We also assist other public safety agencies as well in order to provide the safest community possible.
Our members reflect the makeup of our community. We are dads and moms, brothers and sisters and sons and daughters. In other words, we're human beings just like those we serve. We were all born with a very deep commitment to protecting others, and it was only a matter of time before we were to be chosen to serve the greater good of the community in which we live and work. Simply put, it was our destiny; our calling. We welcome the challenge of providing the highest level of service and protection possible.
SOME OF THE SERVICES OUR ASSOCIATION PROVIDES:
OUR COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY
When we are called to help, it's our calling and our passion to bring that help to you wherever and whenever it's needed and without hesitation. We are well-trained, well-equipped and well-prepared for any dangerous situation. We understand that we are expected to do in seconds what most people would never want to do. We ask that you understand this as well. You've put your trust in us, and we promise in return to do our very best and give you all we have, including our lives if necessary.
Thank you for your support...
